Family members of the victims in a triple murder are pleading for the community's help in solving the case. finding the three bodies covered in soot. They realized the family's Christmas tree had caught fire and burned. "It's very important that the news keep the story out there, because someone out there knows what's going on," Peterson said. "We just need to make sure that we keep a life to this story." Action News Jax Crime and Safety Expert Ken Jefferson isn't worried about the lack of answers from police. "No news, sometimes, is good news because [detectives] may be working something that's leading them somewhere, [and] they can't compromise the investigation," Jefferson said. Still, Peterson has a plea he wants the community to hear, and take action. "Imagine if it happened to your family," Peterson said. "You would want some kind of information out there."
