Uber Eats Driver Accused Of Killing Customer During Delivery

ATLANTA - An Uber Eats driver accused of killing a customer after delivering food to the man's home over the weekend turned himself in Monday, authorities said. The shooting happened at around 11:30 p.m. ET Saturday in a condominium complex in the city's Buckhead neighborhood, police said. Robert Bivines, 36, of Atlanta turned himself in Monday afternoon, his lawyer said. Ryan Thornton, 30, of Atlanta, ordered food using the Uber Eats smartphone app. Bivines delivered it, city police said in the felony warrant for the driver's arrest.
