Kevin Gates' wife, Dreka Gates, took to social media on Saturday afternoon to release a statement regarding his incarceration. In case you haven't heard, Kevin was sentenced to six months in jail for kicking a fan. After serving five months, the rapper was set to be released early. Unfortunately, the day of his release, he was re-arrested on an outstanding weapons felony warrant

in Kevin Gates waived extradition to Cook County. He will be picked up by Illinois authorities within 30 days. In a post on her Instagram page, Dreka asked everyone to shift their thoughts, prayers, and energy to Kevin returning home to his family.
