Nene Leakes’ Son Arrested For Felony Possession Of An Illegal Substance , Allegedly Told Authorities He Was His Younger Brother Brentt

Nene Leakes, the star of Real Housewives of Atlanta, is facing a heartbreaking situation as her son Bryson Bryant was arrested earlier this month for felony of an illegal substance. The substance that he had is a powerful synthetic opioid that is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine. According to court documents, Bryant was taken after authorities allegedly found illegal substances on him at a home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was also charged with misdemeanor loitering/prowling and giving a false name, address or birthdate to a law enforcement officer. The latter charge stems from Bryant's attempt to deceive the police by claiming he was his younger brother, Brentt Leakes, who Nene had with her late husband, Gregg. Bryant's arrest came less than two weeks after he sold three counterfeit pills that were laced and two
tablets of Xanax to Leandro De Niro-Rodriguez, the grandson of actor Robert De Niro. De Niro-Rodriguez passed away of an overdose on July 2 after ingesting one of the pills in his lower Manhattan apartment. Bryant reportedly texted De Niro-Rodriguez after the delivery, asking "u good?" but never received a response. Bryant's bond was set at $5,900 and he was released. However, he was rearrested after he sold 50 suspected counterfeit laced pills to an undercover authority worker and was found to be in possession of 156 more pills and $1,500 in cash. This is not the first time that Bryant has been in trouble with the law. He has a history of arrests for various offenses, such as theft, DUI, battery and probation violation. He has also struggled with illegal substance usage and has been to rehab several times.
