Jhene Aiko had time today, so she took to social media to shut down rumors and "gossip" accusing her of cheating on her ex-husband, Dot Da Genius, with Big Sean. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the singer opened up about how her platonic friendship with Sean became something more years later. The tea folks are running with is when Jhene talked about going on a date to a basketball game with the rapper while she was in a relationship. She tried to put some Pine Sol on it by adding they went as friends. But, friends don't usually go on "dates." Where the confusion comes in is people somehow thought the boyfriend was Dot, which is incorrect. we were together... this person was not Dot i found out and we began to seperate... he moved out of my apt, we stopped speaking... and then i went to basketball game w/ a friend. even tho we werent speaking, i called my then boyfriend and let him know i was going because im considerate lol it was a cool game! lots of laughs, we drank beer... and this last part may upset many of u... but after the game... i went home... there was no sucking, f-cking, kissing, hand holding or sexting that followed i went on to lose my brother 2 months after that basketball game. i remained single for awhile and decided to focus on my Nami and recording my ep "sail out" & album "souled out" ... and sorry to dissappoint yet again, but me and sean remained platonic friends through out the rest of the story can be heard on "Trip" the album lol for an in depth look u can also pick up "2fish" the poetry book lol it's been my pleasure sharing with u guys!! but let's try in 2018 to gossip less and talk and listen to each other more!! it would do a world of wonders for the entire human race This isn't the first time Jhene has addressed this and at this point...why do folks even care?
