Authorities Say Boyfriend Fatally injured a Bronx Mom and Her 6-Year-Old Daughter, Who Was Hiding Under Covers During Attack Gabrielle Muniz and her daughter, Rozara Estevez, were discovered deceased at their home. New York authorities found a young mother and her 6-year-old daughter deceased inside of their apartment in the Bronx. Authorities also reveals that they feel the person who did this is also deceased. According to NYPD connects, Caleb Duberry, who was 34, fatally injured Gabrielle Muniz, who was 26, and her daughter, Rozara Estevez. He stabbed each of them multiple times. According to family, Duberry and Muniz had been dating. Her mother explained "My daughter was an incredible person," says Rocha, speaking to reporters. "She was a single mother, with no help from the father. She was a hard worker and an inspiration for all." Her mother also revealed that her daughter had been in Pharmacy Tech school and was planning to finish soon. "When she graduated from high school, she graduated as valedictorian with her two-year

associate arts degree," says Rocha, who called her granddaughter "a ray of sunshine" who was "smart, sweet, and innocent." Rocha added that "Rozara adored her mommy." The tragic scene was discovered during a welfare check. The little girl's remains were found in her bed, the sources confirm. Three knives were taken from the scene, authorities sources say. The investigators tracked Duberry to an apartment building a mile from the fatalities. He was barricaded inside of an apartment. When the authorities were closing in on him, Duberry took his own life. The victim’s mother said that she believes that Duberry fatally injured her daughter because she had ended their relationship. "I didn't like him, and I told Gabrielle that," says her mother . "I believe, and I will never know, because the coward fatally injured himself, but she probably told him she was done. This probably happened because she told him it was over." Duberry had other charges and was on parole. He had weapon charges as well. Watch Video Below
