Keke Wyatt announced during a performance that her doctors revealed to her that she may face birth defects with the child that she is currently carrying. During a performance, Keke mentions that doctors revealed to her the status of her baby. The baby has Trisomy 13. KeKe Wyatt has had complications in the past. She suffered through a still birth. She named the baby Heaven. This baby would be her 11th child and she has said that she is not opposed to baby 12. Trisomy 13, also called Patau syndrome, is a chromosomal condition associated with severe intellectual disability and physical abnormalities in many parts of

the body. Individuals with trisomy 13 often have heart defects, brain or spinal cord abnormalities, very small or poorly developed eyes extra fingers or toes. They may have an opening in the lip. There may be born with or without an opening in the roof of the mouth. They may have weak muscle tone (hypotonia). Due to the fact that there are several life-threatening medical problems, many infants with this condition do not survive. They usually pass away within their first days or weeks of life. Only 5 to 10 percent of babies with this condition live past their first year. Watch below
