Woman Is Arrested For Orchestrating The Fatal Injury Of Her Ex’s Family

Woman is arrested for orchestrating the fatal injury of her ex’s family Prosecutors says that woman accused of being themastermind behind family's fatal injury attended their funeral Investigators says that Alexus Williams hired a man to fatally injure her ex, Donyavia Lagway, Gregory Carhee and their 6-year-old daughter Harmony Carhee inside of their southwest Houston home. A woman has been charged in connection with fatally injuring a Southwest Houston family. Alexus Chenelle Williams, who is 29, is charged with three counts of capital fatal injury in the shooting deaths of 29-year-old Donyavia Lagway, 35-year-old Gregory Carhee and 6-year-old Harmony Carhee inside their southwest Houston apartment on June 30. Their 10 year old daughter was also critically wounded. The very brave little girl survived by playing possum. She held her 1-year-old baby brother. He had been thrown across the room by the man. “This incredible young lady was able to get up despite being gravely wounded, (and) care for her 1-year-old old baby brother who was still in the apartment,” The Prosecutor Said. Prosecutors says that Williams had an affair with Lagway. The mother of four ended it and decided to rekindle things with her husband. They say that Williams hired Xavier Davis, who is 28, to fatally injure the whole family and told him that he could have all the money that he found in their apartment. Williams may have even watched him fatally injure the victims on her phone, according to authorities. "He was on Facetime with Alexus Williams. That means she watched either the executions or the immediate aftermath of that family being wiped out," said the District Attorney. The DA even said that it's possible that Williams even spoke to the victims before they were gunned down viciously. Davis was arrested in early July on three capital fatal injury charges. Also he was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Williams only
spoke one time during the hearing. “I didn’t fully understand what you said,” Williams said to the judge. “You have no bond in any of the three capital M…..R,” Judge Eva Flores responded. Prosecutors says that Williams attended the family's funeral before she was arrested. Investigators said that they believed from the start that a second person was definitely involved. They suspected that it was Williams after learning about the affair. But it took them months to get into her cell phone. It took even more time to rummage through everything on it.  Prosecutors says that they found long text messages between the two suspects on the day of the ordeal. But it was that Facetime footage that really gave them their answer and sealed it up. The case really uprooted veteran Houston officers and took the family by surprise. "This was a very, very tragic scene," The assistant Chief said. "We're sending out prayers to the family. This was not only a difficult scene for us but for the family as well." Donyavia’s cousin, Ronette Terrell said that no one deserved to go through anything like this, especially her kids. “Why? That’s what I don’t understand,” Ronette said. “When I got the phone call I was just in disbelief and then she told me that they had both passed and I was saying that couldn’t be true." Ronette said that the 10-year-old’s quick thinking saved her life. “She waited until he left and pretended that she was deceased and then when he left she locked the door, grabbed her little brother, called her grandmother,” she said. The girl, who is now 11, is being cared for by her two grandmothers. She has had to undergo many surgeries.  The couple also had an 8-year-old boy that happened to not be home at the time. Family members said that Donyavia had just learned that she was pregnant with her fifth child. Watch Video Below
