A Texas mother was fatally shot while visiting her son’s gravesite on his “first birthday in heaven.” Yolanda N’Gaojia, who was 52, was fatally shot at the cemetery. According to authorities, Yolanda succumbed to her injuries. There was a second person there but they were minimally injured. Yolanda’s ex-husband, Kineh N’Gaojia, says that Yolanda was spending time with the memory of their son Amir at the cemetery. It would’ve been his 22nd birthday. Amir, passed away this year on New Year’s Day.He had two other siblings. After Yolanda’s demise, Kineh wrote on Facebook,

“I have no words because I can’t believe this is real. This is stuff you see [in] movies, but it has become our life. I can’t believe you are gone…how y’all gonna kill her on her Son birthday at his gravesite???” In a second post, Kineh said , “My children will never be the same again. This event took a precious gem from us but gave us an Amazing Angel to guide us so you know we ain’t going nowhere but up cause we know how hard you rode for your family.”
