Landlord Tells Woman To Not Worry About Rent And Gives Her And Family Groceries

During this time , people are having a tough time dealing with not being able to pay bills and keep up with there lifestyle. Many people have been laid off or have Been faced with a major financial decrease. Nathan Nichols, who is a landlord decided to not only waive the rent but he blessed his tenant with groceries. He explains that he is sharing this story to encourage other landlords to do the same. He said: “This situation is going to cause serious financial hardship for service and hourly workers around the country," he took to his social media and said “I own a two unit in South Portland and all of my tenants are in this category. "Because I have the good fortune of being able to afford it and the privilege of being in the owner class, I just let them know I would not be collecting rent in April." The landlord asked her if she had groceries and she told him that she had a few things of meat and that she had to go and get more. Not too long after that conversation, she had received a text. It was From her landlord . He told her to check her porch. She went to the door and her porch was full of groceries. The landlord gave her a free month of rent and gave her groceries. This good deed was so nice and we hope that this story, will encourage others to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Now tenants are to still be thoughtful and continue to take care of their end of the bargain if they are able to. Remember that Landlords have expenses as well.
