The 24 year old niece of Toni Braxton, the Grammy Award winning singer who was born in Severn, was found dead in Maryland. Braxton’s sister, Trina Braxton, confirmed on social media that Lauren “Lolo” Braxton has died, writing on Instagram: “God sent me another angel! Rest in Heaven Lauren “LoLo” Braxton.” Lauren Braxton is the daughter of Michael Braxton Jr., Toni Braxton’s brother. A family representative said that the 24 year old passed away in Maryland and said in a statement, “We ask that you respect the

family’s privacy in their time of sadness and loss.” According to the police report obtained by TMZ, a friend told police that she and the 24 year old were in the kitchen when she went upstairs, leaving Braxton downstairs alone for 10 minutes. When she returned, she found Braxton unresponsive and called police, TMZ wrote. She was later pronounced deceased. Michael Braxton is a Maryland native and the only brother of the Braxton siblings.
