A mom who is from Florida of two has been obtained. This happened after she allegedly confessed to forcing her daughters to drink bleach. Fatally injuring one of them,authorities said. Authorities told reporters that 36-year-old Joanne Zephir put the blame on a "voodoo spell" for the incident. This incident claimed the life of her 3-year-old daughter and injured her 8-year-old. This happened after they ingested bleach. Authorities said that the mother and the 2 children were outside of a church. The mother was found unconscious in the driver's seat of her car. The toddler was unresponsive in the back seat. The 8-year-old girl was found out in the roadway near the church entrance. The family was taken to a local hospital. The younger juvenile was pronounced deceased. The older girl was released to some local family members. Once stable, the mother was taken into custody. According to a family member, the mother confessed to the incident,

and planned to confess. She also said that she wanted to spend time with them first before telling on herself. According to authorities, she contacted the family member several hours later. Confessed to fatally injuring her younger daughter. She said “the 8-year-old was also going to die, and then she would fatally injure herself," Authorities said. The mother also allegedly admitted to authorities that she made her kids drink bleach. They drank bleach from a "makeshift drinking glass," before wrapping her hands around her 3-year-old’s neck until she wasn’t breathing anymore. "The reason for doing this to her children was because the victim in Orange County must have put a voodoo spell on her, making her harm her children," Authorities said. Zephir is being held at the county jail. She has been charged with 1st degree fatal injury and aggravated child abuse. Charges are pending until the findings are revealed from the autopsy.
