Jada Sayles received her university diploma in the hospital, not too long after delivering her first baby.

Jada Sayles, who is 21, was studying criminal justice at Dillard University when she discovered that she was going to have a baby.
"I took six pregnancy tests because I couldn’t believe it,"
Although her Due date was the same as her graduation date, she didn’t worry about that.
But the night before her graduation ceremony, she started to feel contractions. So she headed to the hospital.
"I brought my cap and gown because I thought they would just send me home," she says. However, Sayles’ labor dis
progress over the next four hours.
She pushed for about 45 minutes and she welcomed her first child. She had a son and named him Easton M’Kale Fuller.
She received her Diploma and some more surprises.
The president (Kimbrough) of the school showed up at the Hospital dressed in Graduation Garments to recreate a ceremony.
"Congratulations. You may approach the bed and receive your degree," Kimbrough said in a video inside Sayles’ hospital room while her family cheered her on and her son cried.
"This is memorable for all of us…I have been president for 18 years and this is the coolest thing I have ever done," Kimbrough says . "Jada persevered over a lot and she is a phenomenal person."
