A 40-year- old woman located in Fort Worth Texas, was arrested on suspicion of abusing a corpse. This was almost two years after she did the unthinkable. She was accused of throwing an urn that contained her then-boyfriend’s mother’s ashes. She threw them into Lake Worth, according to the authorities report. This woman faces a charge of abuse of a corpse. This is a Class A misdemeanor that carries a maximum penalty of a year in prison. It also can carry a fine of up to $4,000. This was according to the Fort Worth authorities report. A man told authorities that on June 3, 2020, he and

the woman were dating. They weren’t on good terms at that time. This was according to the legal report. When he returned to the home that they shared together, he realized that his mother’s urn was not in its regular place. He told authorities that he overheard a phone conversation between his girlfriend and her daughter. During the conversation, she told her daughter that she threw the urn in the lake. A few hours after he overheard the conversation, he said that the woman sent him a text. In the text she admitted that she’d taken his mother’s ashes over the bridge into the lake.
