Early Life: Erica Monique Atkins was born on April 29, 1972, in Inglewood, California. She is the daughter of Eddie Aaron Atkins Jr., a pastor, and Thomasina Andrea “Honey” Atkins. Erica has a rich family background, with several siblings, including her younger sister Tina Campbell, with whom she formed the gospel music duo Mary Mary. Sadly, Erica lost her older brother Andre Lavelle Atkins at a young age due to wellness complications.
