Marlon Wayans, the actor and comedian best known for his roles in “White Chicks” and “Scary Movie”, had a bad travel experience when he was kicked off a United Airlines flight from Denver to Kansas City. A dispute with a gate agent over too many carry-on bags. According to Wayans, who shared his story on his social media, he was told by the gate agent that he had to check in one of his bags because it was too big. He complied and consolidated his bags, but then the agent said he had to check in another bag. Wayans said he felt harassed and grabbed his ticket off the counter and boarded the plane. However, the gate agent apparently called security and Wayans was escorted off the plane 30 minutes later. He was also given a citation

for “disturbing the peace” by the Denver authorities Department. Wayans missed his performance in Kansas City that night and had to take another flight with American Airlines. He expressed his frustration and anger at United Airlines and the gate agent, whom he called “rude and wrong”. He also demanded an apology and compensation for his missed shows. Wayans received support from his fans and fellow celebrities on IG, who commented on his posts and shared their own bad experiences with United Airlines. Some suggested that he should fly private or sue the airline. United Airlines issued a statement to TMZ, saying that Wayans “pushed past a United employee at the jetbridge and attempted to board the aircraft” after being told to gate-check his bag. The airline said that Wayans “won’t be flying on United to his destination”.
