Assistant Principal Ernest Joseph Roberts was arrested and charged for the fatal injury of teacher Kameela Russell. Roberts, who is 39 Fatally injured the mother of two. He was formerly employed at the high school that she worked. She was just hired to be a test teacher. Russell's body was found floating in a canal near Roberts' home, authorities said. "Knowing her and the type of person that she was, I just don't understand it. I don't understand it at all," Russell's mother, Linda Russell, told reporters. Police said Kameela Russell had last been seen about a month ago in her black Audi in the driveway of

a family member’s home. Her aunt just lived down the street. According to an arrest warrant, authorities received tips from numerous people that Roberts might have been involved in the disappearance of Russel. When her body was found, the medical examiner's office ruled her death a liquidation,caused by blunt force trauma to both sides of her head. Roberts posted on his social media after the body was found, calling for anyone with information to come forward and to not rely on the rumors about the death of a woman he claimed was like a sister to him.
