Nine women have filed a lawsuit against Bill Cosby, the former actor and comedian, accusing him of using his fame to mistreat and assault them in Nevada between 1979 and 1992. The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for Nevada, after the state eliminated the two-year deadline for adults to file intimate mistreatment. The plaintiffs include Janice Dickinson, a model and personality, Lili Bernard, a guest star on The Cosby Show, and Lise Lotte-Lublin, a Nevada native who advocated for the “lookback law” that allowed

them to sue Cosby. They allege Cosby gave them the chemical La and assaulted them in homes, dressing rooms and hotels in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Cosby, now 85, has been accused of intimate mistreatment from more than 60 women, from groping to forced intimate acts In 2018, he was convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to three to 10 years in prison in Pennsylvania. In 2021, the conviction was overturned and Cosby was released, because prosecutors broke an agreement that prevented charge.
