That seems to be the case for Ming Lee Simmons, the eldest daughter of Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons. On June 20, Ming Lee posted a throwback photo of herself as a little girl with her mom, along with a heartfelt caption that read: "Happy Father’s Day to my amazing mother who has been both parents to me and my sister for our whole lives. You are the strongest person I know and I love you more than words can say." The post was met with mixed reactions from fans and followers, who either praised Ming Lee for honoring her mom or criticized her for disrespecting her dad. Some even wondered if Russell Simmons had seen the post and how he felt about it. Well, it turns out that Russell Simmons is not happy about his daughter’s Father’s Day tribute to Kimora Lee Simmons. In fact, he is suing his ex-wife for allegedly stealing stocks from him to pay for her current husband’s legal fees. According to a lawsuit filed by Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons and her husband Tim Leissner fraudulently transferred 4 million shares of energy drink company Celsius to pay for Leissner’s $44 million fine to avoid jail time after pleading guilty to criminal conspiracy to commit money laundering. Russell Simmons claims that he invested in Celsius with Kimora Lee Simmons in 2017 and that they agreed to share the profits equally. He also alleges that Kimora Lee Simmons has refused to return his shares or pay him any dividends. Kimora Lee Simmons has denied the allegations and labeled them as “extortion” and “serial

mistreatment ”. She also accused Russell Simmons of harassing her and their children for years. “Kimora and her children are shocked by the extortive harassment coming from her ex-husband, Russell Simmons, who has decided to sue her for shares and dividends of Celsius stock in which Kimora and Tim Leissner invested millions of dollars,” Kimora’s legal team said in a statement. “Russell’s continued aggressive behavior not only blatantly distorts the facts, but is simply a desperate PR ploy ignoring the years of mental and emotional anguish, gaslighting, and ongoing harassment he has inflicted on Kimora,” the statement continued. Kimora Lee Simmons also took to her live to tearfully beg Russell Simmons to stop attacking their children and leave them alone. She revealed some details about his alleged behavior behind the scenes, such as threatening and bullying their younger daughter Aoki Lee Simmons. Aoki Lee Simmons also aired out her dad on social media, calling him a “deadbeat” and a “liar”. She claimed that he has not been involved in their lives or supported them financially or emotionally. Russell Simmons has not publicly responded to his daughter’s Father’s Day post or his ex-wife’s live. However, he has previously expressed his love for Ming Lee Simmons on his own social media account.
