Brandy, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and actress, is among the 31 honorees who will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2024. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the list of inductees on Monday. Brandy will join fellow R&B legends Toni Braxton and Otis Redding (posthumously) in the Recording category. Other notable names in this category include Dr. Dre, Gwen Stefani, Darius Rucker, and Nipsey Hussle (posthumously). Brandy has been a trailblazer in the music industry since her debut album, Brandy, was released in 1994. She has sold over 40 million records worldwide and has won numerous awards, including a Grammy, an American Music Award, and seven Billboard Music Awards. She is also known for her acting roles in Moesha, Cinderella, The Game, and Star. Brandy's most recent album, b7, was released in 2020 and featured the hit single "Borderline". The album received

critical acclaim and debuted at number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also topped the iTunes R&B/Soul chart in several countries. Brandy expressed her gratitude for the honor on her Social Media.
