That's what happened to a woman who fell off a cruise ship while taking a selfie in the Caribbean. According to witnesses, she was standing on the railing of her balcony on a cruise ship as it was approaching Haiti. She was

holding her camera with one hand and posing with the other, trying to get the perfect shot of herself and the ocean. But she lost her balance and plunged 15 stories into the dark water below. Fortunately, she survived the fall and was rescued by the ship's crew after more than an hour in the waters She was taken to a hospital; where she was treated for injuries and hypothermia. She was also banned for life from sailing with Royal Caribbean, as her actions violated the company's safety policy.
