It’s a boy for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen! The couple announced the arrival of their fourth child, Wren Alexander Stephens, via surrogate on their social media. Wren joins his big sisters Luna, 7, and Esti, 5 months, and his big brother Miles, 4, in the Legend-Teigen camp. Teigen shared a heartfelt post on her social media, thanking their surrogate Alexandra for giving them this incredible gift. She also revealed that Wren’s middle name is a tribute to their surrogate, and that their late son Jack, who they lost during pregnancy in 2020, is watching over their family. “We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra,” she wrote. “And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens. media..captioning it: “Wren Alexander Stephens, our new love.” The couple had previously opened up about their struggles with fertility and their decision to use surrogacy after losing Jack. Teigen said that she had always wanted four children, but didn’t think she could carry any more babies on her own. She said they reached out to a surrogacy agency in 2021, and also restarted the IVF process to conceive Esti. “In 2021, we reached out to a surrogacy agency, with our first correspondence inquiring about perhaps having 2 tandem surrogates, to each bring us a healthy baby boy or girl,” she wrote. “I told John I wanted to try one more time to carry a baby myself. We restarted the IVF process again and I was able to conceive Esti.” She added that they were lucky to meet Alexandra, who was “the most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine.” We’re so happy for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen on their growing family!
