Soulja Boy sparked rumors of a split with his on-and-off girlfriend Nia Riley after he supposedly went on a Twitter rant telling fans he was single. In a series of tweets Saturday, the 25-year-old rapper said he and Nia had called it quits and that he was going to do Season 3 of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" with another woman. "Thank God," Soulja Boy reportedly wrote (via the Shade Room), adding: "Yes I'm doing love and hip hop season 3. But im single. I'll be with my new girl this season. The tweets continued: "Never let a person with negative energy ruin your mood. Stay focused. Happy and blessed." The Twitter posts were eventually deleted, and Soulja Boy wrote that his account had been hacked and that he and Nia were still dating, the Shade Room reported. Nia hasn't commented on the hack or her relationship with Soulja Boy,

who was born DeAndre Cortez Way. The mother of one also hasn't announced whether she's returning for another season of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood." The pair's relationship troubles played out on Season 2 of the series. Things escalated when Soulja Boy was caught cheating on Nia with rapper Nastassia Smith (aka Nas). Nia and Nas also got into a fight over the romantic triangle. This month, the relationship between Nia and Soulja Boy absorbed a blow when Nas went on Instagram posting screenshots of alleged text messages the "Pow" rapper sent her. Soulja Boy quickly fired back, claiming Nas was attempting to get attention and that the messages were fake. Shortly after the incident, Soulja Boy and Nia were seen together at a baby shower for Omarion and Apryl Jones. The singer and his longtime girlfriend announced in December that they were quitting "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood."
