Mississippi authorities are investigating two homicides after a boyfriend and girlfriend were both injured indefinitely just days apart. Authorities in Jackson, Mississippi, said that the homicide of DeMarco Gaines who was 23 takes the towns homicides cases to over 90. This happened just days after his girlfriend was indefinitely injured, her name Kennedy Wilson, who was also 23. The Wilson family said that the two

were dating. They also said they are tired of all the senseless violence. “We shouldn’t have to bury our kids. Our kids should be burying their parents," said a relative who is named Chandra Wilson. "If you know something, say something. Stop the violence. Stop the violence. Stop the violence.” This case is still being investigated and there have been no leads on who could have done this.
