Nurse assistant shot and killed in Philadelphia hospital, allegedly by heavily armed fellow nursing assistant wearing scrubs. A nurse assistant was fatally shot inside Jefferson Hospital. Authorities say that the suspect is a 55-year-old heavily armed man wearing scrubs. He shot the 43-year-old male nurse on the hospital's 9th floor around

midnight. Authorities say that the suspect also worked at the hospital as a nursing assistant. It was unclear whether or not the two knew each other. The man was able to get through heavily armed because he had access to the employee areas of entry into the hospital, authorities explained.
