Kim Kardashian has opened up about her co-parenting experience with her ex-husband Kanye West, and how their eldest daughter North West feels about living with each of them. In a recent episode of The Kardashians, the reality star revealed that North prefers staying at Kanye's apartment rather than her lavish mansion in Hidden Hills, California. According to Kim, North likes the simpler life that Kanye offers, without any private staff or security. "She'll be like, 'Dad is the best. He has it all figured out. He doesn't have a nanny, he doesn't have a chef, he doesn't have security. He lives in an apartment,'" Kim told her sister Kourtney Kardashian. “And she will start crying, 'Why don't you have an apartment? I can't believe we don't have an apartment.'" Kim also said that North and her other kids make their own food at Kanye's house, and that North is very smart and creative. "She teaches me patience. She has taught me

a lot about life," Kim said of her 10-year-old daughter. Kourtney, who is also co-parenting with her ex Scott Disick, related to Kim's situation and said that her kids also prefer Scott's smaller house over hers. "They do that at Scott's too. 'Dad has the best house, your house is terrible. He has the best house. It's not super big, the vibe's better.' I feel like everything falls on the parent that's more involved," Kourtney said. Kim and Kanye, who got married in 2014 and divorced in 2022, have been trying to maintain a good relationship with each other for the sake of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
