Maryland Man Is fatally Injured at Popeyes A 28-year-old Kevin Davis, was not fatally injured over a chicken sandwich, according to his constituents. Friends and family gathered on the outside of the Popeyes where the incident happened. They set up a memorial at the parking spot where the whole thing went down. They put candles, balloons, and stuffed animals there. Authorities said that Davis had cut in front of people standing in the chicken sandwich line at a Popeye. Authorities said that witnesses told them that he had gotten into an altercation with a man who was in line. The surveillance video showed that he had gotten into an argument with another man, which the two of them took outside the restaurant. Once outside, investigators said a male suspect fatally injured Davis. His friend said that he was right

there with him during the whole event. He later succumbed to his injuries, according to authorities . Many of the friends gathered outside Popeyes and said adamantly said he did not die over a chicken sandwich. “They are not going to make it like that chicken sandwich is the reason that this happened to my homie," his friend said. "It was deeper than that.” What it was, he couldn't say. But, he said that finding the answer to that question is not his focus right now. He wants to celebrate his life. "He just came out here with a smile on his face every day, brought joy to everybody’s day, no matter what he went through...Long live KD," the friend said.
