Denise Williams will definitely remain in prison, after a judge sentenced her to 30 years for conspiring to fatally injure her first husband. This case has been ongoing since Mike Williams disappeared over 20 years ago.
In 2016 the case was opened when Denise Williams’ at that time husband Brian Winchester was arrested for kidnapping her. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison back in 2017. He had confessed to fatally injuring Mike Williams in exchange for immunity from prosecution.

Winchester was having an affair with Denise Williams right up until he fatally injured her husband.
A jury convicted Denise Williams on conspiracy, first degree fatal injury and accessory to a fatal injury back in 2018. Later on in appeals court about a year later, the conviction was overturned.
The State of Florida decided to appeal that decision to the Florida Supreme Court. The court decided not to take it up.
With the conspiracy charge she could have faced two years to 30 years.
The testimony from Williams’ daughter, and Mike Williams’ mother, led to the judge re-sentencing Williams to 30 years in prison.
