Tyler Perry has been giving his fan base content for over 20 years. He started out with plays and has transitioned gracefully to the big screen. Wigs for characters on the stage are different than in the movies. The wig is supposed to make you forget about the fact that you are watching a movie or a play. In a movie, there is more superficial things that takes place. However if you going to a movie to worry about the wigs, than you are missing out on the true experience. In real life, no one walks around with perfect hair. He portrayed that ever so gracefully in his recent movie ‘A Fall From Grace’. The wig choice for any movie is to transform the actor into someone that they are portraying and to drag the audience in to the movie’s reality. a treat. Social Media really tore into the wig choices of the characters. The wigs to some of the viewers left a lot to be desired. Tyler Perry explained that the wigs are for the characters not the actors. He wants to make sure that the character shows up to the plate. His character’s wig choice reeked of a lawyer that has no time to get to the barber shop. The character of the love interest wig looked like he was from the 90’s. It made him look like a slick talking Man. It also made him look older. The main characters wig was a mess, literally. However she was in jail, what do you expect? He explained that the main actress Crystal Fox had a disagreement on the Wig choices.
