His mother decided to put him out of the house at age 13 for reasons Butler said he doesn't know. He had no where to live due to his mother putting him out. He bounced from one friend's house to another friend's house. He was sleeping on couches and floors for most of his first three years

in High School. The summer before his senior year, Lambert's son (adopted mother) Jordan Leslie, just a freshman, challenged Butler to a shooting contest. An awesome bond formed. Jordan Leslie started bringing Butler home to spend the night. Jordan’s Mother helped him go to college and even paid for his education until a scholarship kicked in his sophomore year.
