fraudulent activities. Colorado.  Hess, 45, admitted that through her funeral home, she mishandled services. She defrauded at least 12 families. These families were seeking cremation services for their deceased relatives. Instead of just cremating the bodies, the court records show that her body company harvested heads, spines, arms and legs and then sold them.
