Florida woman allegedly kept her deceased mother’s body in a freezer for weeks. She did this to have access to her benefits check. The elderly woman collected disability checks. Michele Hoskins, who is 64, has been charged with failing to report the death of her mother. She is also charged with tampering with evidence. The woman’s mother, was 93-year-old Marie. She was found deceased inside of a deep freezer. This happened during a welfare check. Investigators also

found a “heavily soiled bed mattress” in the backyard. The mattress had been hidden under thick branches. Hoskins eventually confessed to authorities that her mother had died of natural causes. She had purchased the deep freezer to conceal the body. She was hidden over “the concern that she would not be able to receive her disability benefits.” She in currently being held in the Indian River County on a $10,000 bond. Watch Video Below
