A Texas woman lived with her deceased mother's remains for over three years, authorities says. Delissa Navonne Crayton, who is 47 years. She is from Sequin, Texas. She was arrested for injury to a child under the age of 15 through recklessly, by omission, causing to a child, serious mental deficiency. Also the impairment or injury by living with the remains of her elderly mother for three years. The authorities said For years, Delissa Navonne and her child lived in one bedroom of the house. They lived their while her mother’s body was in the other room of the two-bedroom home. This was according to the Police. She was arrested on

a child mistreatment charge after police discovered remains that appear to belong to Jacqueline Louise Crayton, authorities said. Police figured out that the 71 year old woman had suffered a non-life threatening fall in 2016 in the home. "Delissa Crayton failed to provide adequate assistance leading investigators to believe Jaqueline died within a few days while lying on the floor,” according to a statement from the authorities. Delissa Crayton was charged with mental injury to a child. She is being held ons 200k bond. According to the records she has not sought legal help.
