It all started as a game for a pair of shoes. It ended with some unfortunate events and a mother of seven young children was caught in the middle of it. Francesca 'Frankie' Marks was at the park for a barbecue with her family. They were celebrating her sister's boyfriend's family reunion when someone started to ring out fire. "Her last words were 'Sis I think I've been shot.' And then she fell," said her mom, Sherri Scott. "That's senseless you don't do that at a park. Families go there to enjoy themselves." Frankie's family members said that part of her sister's boyfriend's family were playing basketball nearby. That's where the ordeal started. "The guy lost the basketball game and it was, I guess, if you won the game you won some shoes," Sherri said. Frankie's family says that a fight had broke out and the man left. The man allegedly returned back and just started popping

off. Frankie unfortunately was fatally injured. The morher of seven went into cardiac arrest and later succumbed to her injuries . Her children age ranges are from two months to 12 years old. They unfortunately witnessed their mother’s last moments of life, as she fell to the ground, injured. Her twin sister gave her CPR but it was not successful, Frankie's daughter, Khia, said that she was trying to save her children from what was going on. "That's hard and she was trying to save her kids. She was trying to get the baby and run and when she got up she got hir," Khia said. Khia, 10, also said they called 911. She said they were put on hold twice before Frankie's sister's boyfriend drove her to the hospital himself. He got to a 7-Eleven parking lot at Telegraph and Joy before she passed away.  The person who did this ran off. Watch Video Below
