An African American transgender woman was found deceased in her burning car. This happened in South Florida and is being looked at as a homicide. This happens to be the 18th case in the US of a Transgender being fatally injured. The remains of Bee Love Slater, who was 23, was discovered in a burned Car. In a public statement authorities says that they could not initially identify

the body “due to the burns and lack of identification available.” A medical examiner later identified the body through dental records. Authorities are saying that Slater's death was one of the most brutal cases they had seen. Authorities have not said if they think Slater's being transgender played a role in her death.
