A married couple are believed to have been fatally wounded with a knife while their children were sleep upstairs at their home in Somerset. Stephen Chapple, 36, and Jennifer Chapple, 33, were found with life ending injuries and later they were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their children, aged five and six, were found asleep upstairs by authorities. They are now being cared for by family members. A post life examination has confirmed that Mrs. Chapple passed away

from multiple knife wounds. Mr. Chapple’s cause of death is still being investigated. Two men, aged 34 and 67, were obtained with suspicion of having something to do with this event. A neighbor of the victims as “very friendly”. “I knew them by sight, but I didn’t know their names, my dog used to really like the lady,” they said. The 67-year-old has been released under investigation. The 34-year-old, who allegedly is a close neighbor, remains in custody.
