A 30-year-old woman recovered after falling more than 5,000 feet out of a plane.
The woman was skydiving near Trois-Rivières, Quebec. She jumped out of plain and her main and backup parachutes failed to open. She fell into a wooded area, and ended up in the hospital with several fractures, including broken vertebrae. Trois-Rivières authorities said that her life isn't
in danger.
Denis Demers, who saw the whole thing play out, told News outlets that the solo skydiver was falling much faster than anyoneelse.
It's a miracle," Demers said. "I don't know how a person can survive a fall from an airplane like that."
Oh, and one more thing. She found out that she was pregnant. She and the baby lived.
