An 18-year-old woman turned herself in for allegedly ending the life of a pastor who was greatly loved by his community and seemingly attempting to end his wife’s life as well.
Pastor Tim Pearson, of Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in Melvin, Alabama, was taken out indefinitely by the woman in the morning. Pearson’s wife, Melony, was also injured during the ordeal.

, identified as Melissa Hill, who is 18. She was obtained by the authorities after she turned herself in the same day of the incident.
The local coroner further confirmed that there was a suspicion of foul play.
The pastor had been married to his wife for 34 years and a pastor for 27 years.
