Chicago authorities says that actor Jussie Smollett made up the story of a brutal hate crime because he was “dissatisfied with his salary” on the Fox tv. drama “Empire.”
Smollet paid two men $3,500 to help him stage the fake attack after a crude, threatening letter he sent to the “Empire” set in
Chicago failed to get attention.
Things were not adding up in his story. People started growing suspicious of what he was saying. He wouldn’t even allow authorities to see his phone.
During this time he has traveled carrying protest for gay rights. He really played on people’s emotions says a representative said.
