In the weeks leading up to her life being viciously taken, Charlene Jones had been having multiple altercations with her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend. Her name is Monica Every. Jones, who was 48, went through weeks of harassment from Monica, who is 49. Monica constantly made phone calls to the victim. She even called Crime stoppers to try and blame the victim in a crime. Monica is one of three suspects

that were arrested in connection with the fatal injury of jones. She was wounded in the parking lot of her apartment complex. Monica is charged with the fatal injury and fatal injury for hire. During a preliminary hearing, it was revealed that Monica Every paid $4,000 to her co-conspirators after Jones was fatally injured.  The other people involved were Deja Walls and her boyfriend.
