A 74 year old man who was pushed off of a public bus has succumbed to his injuries. Allegedly a woman that he had told to "be nicer" apparently pushed him off of the bus. She pushed him and he hit the sidewalk, and the woman has been charged with his fatal injuries.
Cadesha Michelle Bishop, 25, according to a criminal complaint was allegedly seen doing this crime.
The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. The video, which did not include sound, showed The victim whose name was Fournier speaking to Bishop.
She then proceeded to positioning herself behind behind him. When the bus stopped and the exit door opened she allegedly shoved him with both hands off of the bus. The victim,
who was holding a foldable shopping cart, landed face first on the pavement and hit his head. This was all according to the warrant.
Fournier "was pushed with enough force that he never touched any of the steps," the arrest warrant stated. "He went directly from the bus aisle platform to the concrete sidewalk. His head landed approximately eight feet from the bus doorway."
Witnesses told the police that Bishop had been cursing at other bus riders. This caused the prompting of Fournier to tell her to "be nicer to the passengers," according to the arrest warrant. Bishop, who was wearing a "Love" emblem on her jacket, briskly exited the bus with a child and did not offer the victim any help.
