Last week, a tragic accident claimed the life of a baby boy in Northeast Baltimore. Ziaullah Salarzai, who was about to turn one year old in June, fell from a third-story balcony of their home. Police arrived at the scene on Tuesday, May 23 around 5:40

p.m. and found the child with critical injuries. He was rushed to a hospital, but he did not survive and passed away three days later. The case was initially handled by homicide detectives, but the Medical Examiner’s office determined that the death was accidental, police said.
