A pregnant woman unloading gifts from her own baby shower was fatally wounded in front of a Philadelphia home. Authorities says that they suspect that it was a "cowardly" targeted crime. The slaying of the 32-year-old woman, makes the city reach 500 fatalities. Authorities confirm that the woman had just left her baby shower.

Her car was full of presents. She was seven months pregnant. She was taken to a near hospital, but was pronounced gone just a short time later. The fetus was also pronounced deceased at the hospital, authorities explained. The scene had no weapons there to be recovered. The woman’s identity has not been released as of yet.
