Photographer Mike Mora has passed away from stage 4 stomach cancer. Kelis’ husband was only 37 years old. A Representative confirmed about his death. “Sadly, it’s true that Mike Mora has passed away. We would ask all to respect Kelis and her family’s privacy as of right now. Thank you.” Mora revealed back in September 2021 that he had been diagnosed with cancer, after having endured “the worst pain” in his stomach. He also had severe back pain and no appetite in September 2020. This happened to be around the time that he and Kelis welcomed their second child together. The baby girl was born just two weeks prior. “In fact, while she was in the NICU for 10 days (whole other story), I thought the whole time that I just

had an ulcer,” Mora wrote last September. “With no idea what was about to come my way.” Mora and Kelis also have 6-year-old son named Shepherd. Kelis has a 12-year-old son, Knight, with ex-husband Nasir Jones. “I want to be able to help those that might be experiencing something like this a life-altering disease full of questions and doubt maybe, hopefully. By showing that it’s possible to make it through,” Mora wrote. “You always see people post about how life is too short. How you should reach out to those you love no matter where life has taken you. It is the truth. Don’t take your time here, your time with friends, family, for granted. Stuff can be over just like that!”  Watch Video Below
