A Cincinnati woman has been arrested arrested for reportedly grabbing the hair of a 1-year-old. This caused physical harm to the child. This all happened at the day care facility. Court documents says that the 27-year-old Daycare worker whose name is Kristian Hemmitt was arrested and has been charged. She has been charged with assaulting a toddler. This was actually caught on video. "The defendant forcefully picked the victim up by the scalp, carried the victim across the room by its hair. Threw the victim on the ground," Says authorities. According to documents, Hemmitt "picked the victim up by the hair preventing the victim's feet from touching the ground." She then "walked 10 feet ... performing a push-pull motion," documents state. So basically she had the child up like a rag doll. Afterward, investigators said that Hemmitt tried to get rid of

the evidence by throwing the hair that she pulled off the toddler into the trash can. Documents state the toddler sustained multiple injuries to the scalp and required emergency medical treatment. Hemmitt is facing several charges of felonious assault, endangering children (two counts) and tampering with evidence (two counts). The mother of the child involved asked not to be identified but told reporters that the day care is "phenomenal and this event is unfortunate for both my family and this center. They have done everything right, I truly believe that they had no knowledge of this behavior and I believe that if they did (which they did not) they would have taken appropriate action to prevent it. I am blessed to still have the ability to hold and care for my baby girl and that is what I am thankful for." Watch Video Below
