A U.S. Marine fatally injured his wife on the side of a Hawaii freeway. This happened as witnesses tried to stop him. They tried to save the victim’s life. Authorities identified the couple as Bryant Tejada-Castillo, 29, and Dana Alotaibi, who was 27. The husband Tejada-Castillo is being charged with second-degree fatal injury. The victim (his wife), previously accused him on social media of subjecting her to physical abuse. Her mother, Natalia told the news outlets that her daughter was three-months pregnant. At around 6 pm, Castillo could be seen stabbing his wife several times. The bystanders tried to intervene. They were pulling and trying to

restrain him. They desperately tried to save the woman. The man fled into nearby woodsy area. When the authorities arrived, they were pointed to his location and were able to catch him. “I do want to take this time to thank the public for their assistance and willingness to intervene as the situation unfolded,” an officer said. “Their efforts were instrumental in the apprehension and arrest of the suspect.” The man at one point, allegedly attempted to hurt himself with the knife.
